The Foster Marketing Association’s mission is to connect students with the Marketing community and provide them with resources for a successful Marketing career.

We achieve our mission through events that focus on the following areas:

  • Exposure to the variety of industries and positions that fall within Marketing. Speakers are brought in to touch on the latest Marketing trends and fastest growing roles.

  • Networking with local alumni and Marketing leaders to create impactful relationships. Foster has a strong reputation within the Marketing field, and we aim to engage FMA members with this network.

  • Recruitment preparation for any marketing position with insights pertaining to a wide array of companies.

Leadership

The mission of the Foster Marketing Association (FMA) is to be the most valuable resource for students interested in the marketing industry. The FMA Board strives to broaden your exposure to the themes and trends of marketing in the business world through the collaboration of our members, officers, faculty, alumni, and distinguished speakers. 

 

Priyanka Gadkari

Priyanka built her career in the Retail/CPG prior to joining business school. Her goals post MBA are to pivot into the marketing space specifically in the Tech industry. Priyanka hopes to co-lead FMA to build visibility, connectivity and recruitment opportunities for future members. 

 

Ramya Krishna Pusala

Having journeyed from software engineering to roles as Product and Project Manager across diverse industries, including insurance, healthcare, fintech, and automobile, Ramya steps into the role of VP of Alumni Relations for the Marketing Club. This platform aligns seamlessly with her goal of becoming a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager, enabling her to leverage her strategic mindset and relationship-building skills to foster a dynamic alumni network. She is excited to leverage her insights and skills in fostering lasting connections and enhancing the club's legacy 

 

Sam Wilkes

Before business school, Sam worked as a Marketing Program Manager at a building technology company. His experience is in B2B marketing/content creation, and interned as a Marketing Manager for Amazon Music this summer. Last year, he was a first-year rep for FMA and ran the Super Bowl Ad Review, and hopes to make FMA more interactive and engaging this year!  

 

Vanshika Kaushik

Vanshika is a seasoned marketing professional with over five years of marketing experience in consulting and B2B. Currently, she is thriving as a product marketing consultant for a Start-up. She excels at simplifying intricate concepts for effective communication, a skill that has significantly contributed to team synchronization and collaborative efforts. Holding the position of VP of communication, she aspires to actively contribute to establishing efficient communication within the FMA. 

 

Victoria Ecker

Victoria has professional experience in the outdoor retail industry, as well as organizational change management work for a consulting firm. After graduation she hopes to find a role in either brand management or product marketing, ideally in the outdoor retailing space. Her role as the VP of Partnerships will broaden FMA’s network, and offer members insight into different marketing roles in a range of industries. 

 

Matt Sterling

Matt is excited to continue his work with the Foster Marketing Association board in 2023-2024 as the VP, Programming. Matt is looking forward to helping organize and execute fun, engaging, and impactful FMA events that span various industries, disciplines, and focus areas, not just Marketing! A Pennsylvania native, Matt spent the last 5 years of his career in the consulting industry, most recently as a Senior Consultant in the Organizational Transformation space supporting change management efforts related to large system implementations. Matt is an aspiring career-pivoter who spent his 2023 summer internship with ServiceNow as a Product & Solutions Marketing MBA Intern and had the opportunity to support several Product Marketing-related campaigns and initiatives, strongly influencing the future direction of the larger organization. In Matt’s free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Elly, golfing, going to concerts, and enjoying all that the PNW has to offer!

Case and Interview Prep with an FMA Board Member

The FMA board provides 1:1 coaching for FMA members who wish to practice case and mock interviews. We also provide feedback on cover letters and resumes. Signing up for the FMA provides access to the online scheduling tool through which members can book slots with coaches and board members.
